Responsibility is articulated as an alignment of tokens, a structural effort to ensure that the output remains within the margins of social acceptability, which creates a version of ethics that is essentially a high-level form of politeness. The language of human interiority—ambition, dread, and the search for purpose—is treated as a dataset for a performance, allowing a system with no awareness of death to speak with the gravity of a mortal.
